Emily

Emily grew up in Baltimore, Maryland and was introduced to Pilates over 10 years ago to enhance her ballet training. After suffering a foot injury, Emily found Pilates as a way to safely move and rehabilitate her body. She deepened her knowledge of the method while dancing at the Harid Conservatory, the Royal Danish Ballet, and Cleveland Ballet before receiving her 600 hour Comprehensive Pilates certification from Power Pilates in NYC. She also holds certifications in Yoga Sculpt and Stretch Therapy. While teaching, Emily emphasizes precision, proper alignment and fluid movement. Emily enjoys working with a wide-range of clients of all backgrounds and believes Pilates is a deeply rewarding practice for one’s overall wellbeing.

Emily is an avid learner in a variety of fields and graduated Summa cum Laude after studying International Affairs and Russian Language and Literature at George Washington University.
