STUDIO POLICIES
CANCELLATION POLICY

We have a 12 hour cancellation policy for group classes. If you cancel within the 12 hours it is considered a 'late cancel' and you will lose the class credit from your account. If you cancel before the 12 hours the class will be credited back to your account. If you are signed up for class and do not show up it will be considered a 'no-show' and you will lose the class credit from your account.

We have a 24 hour cancellation policy for our private and semi-private sessions. If you cancel or reschedule within the 24 hours it will be considered 'late' and you will lose the credit from your account. If you cancel or reschedule outside of the 24 hours it will be credited back to your account.

LATE ARRIVAL POLICY

For safety and to avoid disruptions to class, we do not permit entry for arrivals later than 5 minutes after the start of class. If you are signed up for class and arrive more than 5 minutes late it will be considered a 'no show' and you will lose the class credit from your account.

WAITLIST

If a class is full we recommend joining the waitlist. If you do not get a spot in class the class will be credited back to your account. If a spot opens up the waitlist notifications will go out in order.

If you are booked for a class and you waitlist yourself for another class on the same day you will be charged for both classes per our 12 hour cancellation policy.

PRE / POST NATAL

Pilates BKLYN welcomes expecting and new moms to participate in a private or group-class setting.  Please let us know if you are expecting or recently gave birth so we can provide the best instruction applicable to your condition.  At times, depending on demand, we may have specific pre and post natal classes avaiable - please check our class schedule or email to inquire at info@pilatesbklyn.com

If you are pre-natal and an existing client, please let us know as soon as you feel comfortable so we can provide appropriate instruction and modifications where necessary.  You may continue to join group classes to your level of comfort.  However, as you progress in your pregnancy we would not recommend taking Advanced, HIIT, or Strength classes as these more strenuous and challenging classes are not appropriate to accommodate later term pregnancy.

If you are pre-natal and a new client, we require previous experience with and knowledge of Pilates before joining a group class.  If you are new to Pilates, we recommend scheduling private sessions to ensure your safety.

If you are post-natal please confirm permission from your doctor to return to physical movement.
